The Brexit situation developed on Christmas Eve leaving the UK in another transitional period awaiting an adequacy decision, Citizens Advice reported a whopping 23% rise in website page views on 2019 through pandemic-related job losses, and the SolarWinds Orion platform used by many organisations to monitor their networks was subjected to a cyberattack leading the ICO to issue a statement about the potential global impact of the attack.

2020 was interesting, but the new year will bring with it a whole range of new challenges.
