Launching our PCI QSA Practice

Data Protection People, which is part of the Storm Technology Group, today launches a new PCI Qualified Security Assessor consultancy practice.

This new practice sits within our PCI and Information Security division, and will deliver consultancy and formal assessment services to merchants and service providers, across Europe.

For the past five months, our commercial and delivery teams have been working to build a QSA practice from the ground up, and reflecting on the breadth of work that has brought us to launch, I’m incredibly proud of what has been achieved in such a short period of time.

DPP are now engaged by retail brands, payment service providers, and multinational organisations (including commercial and domestic energy), to provide experienced Qualified Security Assessors that are able to operate within complex technical environments.

As a PCI Security Standards Council-authorised QSA Company, we join less than twenty firms in the UK that are able to undertake formal PCI DSS engagements, and to issue Attestations of Compliance.

Our services include scope identification and reduction, gap analysis, remedial work, and formal assessments (including QSA-led Self Assessment Questionnaires, and Reports on Compliance).

The QSA delivery team has a thorough technical grounding, and is able to operate effectively within your IT estate and payment platforms. Our team has experience with modern technologies, including complex virtualised environments, and hold industry qualifications such as: PCI Qualified Security Assessor, CESG Certified Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert.
